Computa

Terms and Conditions

Last updated October 30, 2026

These terms apply to the Computa app and service, published by Eliot Andres (Appflares). By using Computa, you accept them and our Privacy Policy. They come in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs the app as downloaded from the App Store.

What Computa does

Computa gives you an AI agent with a computer of its own in the cloud. When you ask it something, the agent acts on that remote computer on your behalf: it opens websites, reads pages, types, clicks and fills in forms. You can watch it and take control of the computer from the app.

You are responsible for what you ask

The agent acts on your instructions, and you are responsible for them and for what the agent does to carry them out. You must not use Computa:

We may stop a task, or suspend access to Computa, when it is used against these terms.

The agent makes mistakes

AI agents can misunderstand a request, misread a page, click the wrong thing or report something that isn't true. Check what the agent tells you, and anything it does that matters, before relying on it. Only give the agent access to accounts and information you are willing to have it use, and remember that what it does on websites is done in your name.

Third-party services

Computa relies on other services: the agent's computer runs on boat.dev, and its replies come from the AI model you choose. If you connect your ChatGPT account, your use of it stays subject to OpenAI's terms and your plan's limits. Websites the agent visits have their own terms, which you are responsible for respecting. We are not responsible for these services.

Availability

Computa is provided as it is and as available. We may change, limit or stop any part of it, including the agent's computer, which is deleted with everything on it after a period without use. Don't keep anything on it that you need to keep.

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Computa is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, money or opportunity, arising from your use of Computa or from actions the agent takes on your behalf. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above; continuing to use Computa after that means you accept the new terms.
